Big news. - Yesterday Contractbook officially moved into our first US office in New York (27 East 28th St.). Swing by, we have coffee. - Yoav Susz Is leading the charge (Rambo style). We're currently a amazing 4 man team ( including Michael Canty, Kelly Kirkwood, Sean Brady). We've already won the trust of a bunch of awesome companies (grateful for your trust!!) and we are growing daily. Also, we're recruiting. It's still early days and we're looking for AEs and Business Dev reps to help us grow, and buy some screens. Do not hesitate to reach out to either of us or look at our career page. https://lnkd.in/ez7wNw6N

The Pipe movement goes global! Announcing our UK expansion... 7 years ago, I left the UK for the US in search of a more robust startup ecosystem. I’ve spent the last few months in London working on this launch and I must say, I’m blown away! When I started building my first companies in the UK over 15 years ago, there was no access to capital for a kid like me with no rich parents or wealthy connections. I was forced to build healthy companies from scratch - this instilled a discipline I’m thankful for today. Having spent the last few months in the UK meeting with founders of all types of companies I’ve been so incredibly impressed not only by the quality of companies being built, but by how the UK is catching up to the US from a funding standpoint. There’s still work to do though. I’ve joked before that what we refer to as a bootstrapped company in the US is simply called a business in the UK. That’s because most founders don’t have access to massive amounts of venture capital. And that’s ok, as long as there’s other options suited for them. Enter Pipe. While we service all types of companies from bootstrapped to venture backed, I predict that one of the biggest unlocks in the UK that Pipe will provide will be access to growth capital for fundamentally healthy businesses that aren’t a fit for venture capital. This excites me. From today, we will support UK companies trading their GBP & USD denominated revenues, connecting them directly with the global capital markets - democratizing access to the cheapest growth capital available, without any of the egregious terms that accompany traditional debt. This is transformational. A company with £100k ARR can now access capital on the same terms as a public company with £100M in ARR. Pipe is a platform for everyone, from start up to late stage and publicly traded. A capital markets engine, built for scale. A common misconception is that you have to be a SaaS company to use Pipe. We consider anything recurring tradable. From DTC subscription products all the way to service businesses like property management, recruitment & staffing and even pest control. We got you. Brad Coffey is joining us today as Chief Customer Officer from his post as Chief Strategy Officer at HubSpot. He’ll focus on championing the customer in our expansion across these new verticals, with much more to come. It’s a privilege to have him on board. Sid Orlando joins to head all content at Pipe from her post as an Editor in Chief at Stripe. She’s a force of nature and will drive our mission to create a platform for founders to learn how to grow on their terms. It’s been a long time coming, and we’re lucky to have her. I’m so proud to be bringing Pipe home to the UK and I’ve never been so bullish on the outlook for companies globally to grow on their terms.
