Build or buy when it comes to solutions in the legal profession? We are hosting the next Legal Tech Academy, and this is by far my favorite topic to date! This is relevant for both legal- and IT professionals working in-house and as external advisors. Many organizations have most likely tried building at one point AND buying at another. I know I have. Back in the Sharepoint-era, I built my own contract management system because alternatives were so poor. This was Denmark's largest company at that time and I was as wet behind the ears as one could be. In another job, we paid a consultant to build an app targeted legal professionals. Honestly, both had poor success - and whether that was my fault, the team, or the time, we'll probably never know for sure. But: we learned! Wrapping a great few days at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Was so great to spend uninterrupted time speaking to customers, partners, and prospects about Cameo for Business in real life. I've never been more bullish about the "C4B" customer value prop.
