I never make posts like this. But the events of the last several days in Ukraine have hit emotions in me that I didn’t realize I could feel. Posting about other subjects doesn’t feel right to me at the moment. Right before my eyes, I am watching mothers and children fleeing their homes, while their husbands/fathers remain in Ukraine, fighting for their homeland. It breaks my heart like it’s never been broken before. A family should never have to experience this. Young children should not be living with this kind of fear, wondering if they will ever see their father again. I am inspired by the many citizens of Russia that have taken to the streets to protest the war, knowing that severe punishment will probably ensue if they are detained. I am amazed at their courage to fight for what’s right in the face of fear. Before this weekend, I took many liberties for granted. I never stopped to think about life without them. I never realized how fortunate I was to be living in a country where my children did not have to grow up in fear and my freedom of speech and right to peaceful protest were protected. Being forced to watch my wife and one year old daughter and five year old son flee our country while I stayed home to defend it - I can’t even finish that thought without almost tearing up. Hug your family. Tell them you love them. Laugh with them. Be grateful for the simple things in life. I stand with Ukraine. I stand with the Russian protesters. I pray for peace. #standwithukraine 🇺🇦

I thought I knew what courage was. I thought courage was taking action and standing strong when you were frightened to take action. But I was wrong. Courage is much more than that. 🇺🇦Courage is taken action when all odds are stacked against you and success is grim. 🇺🇦Courage is defending democracy as Russian missiles bombard your cities. 🇺🇦Courage is staying back and taken care of the sick in the middle of a war zone. 🇺🇦Courage is making the decision to defend your country while your family flees. 🇺🇦Courage is being a child, sleeping through the night in a bunker, and hoping your father returns. 🇺🇦Courage is volunteering as a foreigner to help fight for Ukraine. 🇺🇦Courage is living in Russia and protesting the war in the streets. 🇺🇦Courage is fighting for what’s right. I wish I had the courage to act. Thank you to all the individuals that have summoned the courage to act. Your courage is incredible and is not lost on us. #standwithukraine

Like the rest of the world, we’ve watched the events in Ukraine unfold with great sadness. With many friends, family and colleagues affected, we have taken measures both as a team and as individuals to support Ukraine: - As a company, we don’t use any services from Russia or Belarus. - Part of our team members have donated their joy budgets to the Blue/Yellow NGO. - Based on our Terms and Conditions, we’re also closely monitoring all content made in MailerLite campaigns, blocking any propaganda or promotion of war from anywhere in the world. If you’re a non-profit working to support Ukraine, we’d like to offer free use of MailerLite. Please reach out to support@mailerlite.com for help getting started.

Like many around the world, we at Sendinblue are heartbroken by the current events in Ukraine. Our support goes out to everyone touched by this war. The safety and wellbeing of our employees is among our top priorities right now. For colleagues personally affected by the war, we’re providing financial and housing assistance on a case-by-case basis. Given the complexity of the situation, we’ve prioritized individual, personalized support to our team members, ensuring everyone has access to the specific resources they need. We’re deeply moved by their resilience and the support our other team members have shown. Three of our employees even traveled to the Polish-Ukrainian border to help with humanitarian efforts supporting refugees. We’re offering Sendinblue products and services free of charge to humanitarian organizations. If your organization supports Ukrainian refugees, get in touch with us via support@sendinblue.com. A special shout-out to EU4UA.org (Alexandre Hernandez and Raphaël Barbate 🇺🇦) connecting Ukrainian refugees with European citizens willing to host them – we are honored to contribute to this initiative. #supportukraine #stopthewar

We’re saddened and appalled by the ongoing crisis unfolding in Ukraine, a sovereign nation with millions of innocent people who have been forcibly displaced from their homes, their lives, and their families. The right to peace and freedom should not be partisan. As a global platform with a community of millions of people around the world, including a large community in Ukraine, we strongly believe in the important responsibility we have to use our voice, our platform, and our reach to stand behind our values and to stand up for what we believe is right. To help provide immediate relief, we're donating $1,000,000 to a number of nonprofits working to support and relocate those who have been forcibly displaced by this crisis. We’ve also launched a range of free templates and illustrations which we hope will become a way for people across the globe to amplify the important call for peace while bringing additional awareness to the tragic situation continuing to unfold. We stand firmly in support of Ukraine, and in support of peace and freedom.

Like millions of people around the world, I’m saddened and appalled by the devastating news continuing to emerge from Ukraine where millions of innocent people have had their lives turned upside down. Everyone, everywhere, should have the right to peace, safety, and freedom. We believe that we have an incredibly important responsibility to use our voice and our resources to advocate for peace and to bring awareness to the unimaginable, unlawful and unjust situation. To assist with immediate relief, the Canva Foundation is committing $1,000,000 to those impacted by this crisis. We’re also matching donations from our team, dollar-for-dollar, for up to $5,000 per team member.
